Our Featured Sedation Options
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
The gentlest of our three options, nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas,” is administered through a mask. Inhaling nitrous oxide is fast acting, but the effects are mild, so you’ll remain awake and able to communicate with your dentist throughout your treatment. The effects wear off quickly, too, so you’ll be able to drive yourself home if you wish.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation is a prescribed pill you can take about an hour before your visit to our Union office. By the time you arrive, you’ll experience a deeper sense of relaxation, likely remaining awake but drowsy. Best for moderate anxiety and longer dental procedures, you’ll need someone to drive you home after taking this sedation medication.
IV Sedation
Intravenous (IV) sedation is the deepest level of sedation we offer. It’s administered directly to the bloodstream through an IV line and works quickly to help you enter a “twilight sleep” state, where your treatment will pass without pain or worry. Ideal for severe anxiety, this deep sedation takes some time to wear off, so you'll need a trusted friend or family member to drive you home.

I can’t recommend them enough! They have been so great to me. I have been going to them since last summer after not seeing a dentist for quite a while. They were understanding, nonjudgmental, and caring. I’ve had some major work done and have gone in every 2-3 weeks the last couple of months and every single time has been a positive interaction.
